Dairy Services

At Iveagh Vets our focus is preventative herd health and routine fertility work, to optimise animal health and production. We have several different milk production systems in the practice ranging from spring calving grass-based producers to large intensive units, to all-year-round calving herds as well as robotic milking units. The veterinary approach and the service we provide for each system is different and reflective of the challenges they face. We are dedicated to the progression and improvement of dairy production and farmer education. Through our local Dairy Business Development Groups, we have run farmer meetings on topics such as calf health and rearing, fertility, herd diseases and mastitis and SCC.
