About us
Our history
The practice was founded in 1946 by Hercules Jordon in a small premises on Bridge street in Banbridge. In 1958 John Huey joined the practice and became a partner in 1959. The practice moved to larger premises in Rathfriland street and in 1978 Hercules Jordan retired from the veterinary profession. In 1985 John’s son Richard Huey joined and the practice continued to grow and develop. John retired from practice life in 2005, Marcus White joined at that point becoming a partner in 2006. Over the years the practice has grown and developed, now at our new purpose build surgery at Ardery’s Lane, the practice team now consists of15 members of staff all dedicated to caring for your animals.
